This FAQ answers common questions about SiteCare’s updated plans, pricing, and hosting improvements launching January 1, 2026. These updates reflect our ongoing focus on speed, reliability, and performance for every client site we manage.
1. What’s changing on January 1, 2026?
We’re consolidating older SiteCare plans into our new lineup for clarity and performance alignment:
SiteCare Core becomes SiteCare Silver
SiteCare Advanced and SiteCare Plus become SiteCare Gold
All clients on these plans will be automatically transitioned to their new plan on January 1, 2026.
2. What happens to my pricing?
We’ll honor your current Core, Advanced, or Plus pricing through June 30, 2026.
Starting July 1, 2026, the following rates will apply:
If you choose to upgrade before January 1, 2026, you’ll enjoy your upgraded plan before the new year at no additional cost. Your current pricing will still be honored through June 30, 2026.
Your plan will be upgraded to one of the new plans by January 16, 2026. Your current pricing will be honored through June 30, 2026. Beginning in with your first invoice on or after July 1, 2026, you’ll be billed at the new rates listed above.
3. What’s included in the new plans?
Each plan includes enhanced services designed to improve performance, security, and ongoing support:
Silver (previously Core) – Managed WordPress maintenance, security updates, performance monitoring, developer access, and access to our Support Team.
Gold (previously Advanced/Plus) – All Silver features, plus Core Web Vitals guarantees, managed CoreSpeed Hosting, faster site performance, your own Account Manager, and dedicated developer support.
Diamond – All Gold features, plus 10 hours of development support per month, accessibility guidance, after-hours emergency support, and advanced optimization.
4. What’s new with SiteCare hosting?
We’ve built our own optimized hosting platform that’s purpose-built for speed, security, and global delivery, called CoreSpeed.
Key features include:
Load times under 2.5 seconds on average
Dedicated environments, not shared servers
Global CDN optimization for worldwide performance
100% uptime and continuous monitoring
This hosting is included at no additional cost for Gold and Diamond clients. CoreSpeed is exclusive to Gold and Diamond plans.
5. Will my site need to migrate to new hosting?
If you're on a Core plan and have WordPress or Managed Web Hosting with us, your website will not be moved to new hosting. Your plan, however, will update to SiteCare Silver. Your hosting service will not be changed.
If you’re on Gold or Diamond and you host with SiteCare, we will move your website to CoreSpeed web hosting. Your site will move to our optimized hosting environment, and we’ll handle the migration for you. Your Account Manager will contact you to schedule the move.
If you do not host with SiteCare, please consider our new Corespeed hosting solution. Guarantees do not apply to clients who do not host with SiteCare.
6. How does developer access change?
Starting January 1, 2026, Developer access will only be available with Silver, Gold, or Diamond plans. Clients without one of these plans will continue to have Account Management Team access but will no longer have Developer access.
7. When can I request an upgrade?
Right now. Early access is open immediately for clients who want to move to Gold or Diamond before the January 1 rollout. You can request early access here.
8. Will I be billed differently?
No. Your billing cycle and payment method will remain the same. On January 1, 2026, your plan name, features, and rate (after July 1, 2026) will change.
9. What if I’m on annual billing?
If you’re on annual billing, your renewal after July 1, 2026 will reflect your new plan rate.
10. Will my Account Manager or support process change?
No. You’ll keep the same Account Manager, and your support process will remain unchanged.
11. Why is SiteCare making these changes?
These updates reflect the evolution of web performance standards. Our older plans didn’t fully capture the improvements in Core Web Vitals and global hosting performance we can now deliver.
The new structure puts you on a modern plan with greater features and measurable gains in site speed and reliability.
